If you are a prior client of Bruce’s and are looking for help on another case or have a question on an old case, give our firm a call!
Bruce Bernard, born 1951, is a lifelong resident of Erie, Pennsylvania. He knows the area and its people well and is a well-respected member of the community. Graduating first in his class at Academy, he went on to become an Undergraduate Scholar at Case Western Reserve University. He also earned his Juris Doctor degree at CWRU in 1975. He is a member of the Delta Tau Delta social fraternity as well as the legal fraternity of Phi Delta Phi.
Before retiring, his practice was concentrated on workers’ compensation, representing only injured workers. Attorney Bernard also accepted personal injury, wrongful death and estate administration matters. He had experience in many areas of the law which enabled him to have a broad based understanding of his clients’ legal needs.
Prior to his retirement, Bruce had represented hundreds of injured workers. He has obtained numerous awards and settlements for his clients, and has also obtained substantial jury verdicts and non-jury awards.
After practicing for 43 years, Bruce retired from the practice of law in 2018. He now enjoys spending time with his family and dedicating himself to his hobbies. Although retired, his legacy continues in the firm he helped create and the young lawyers he has taught over the years. Our firm strives to provide the same excellent representation to which Bruce’s prior clients have always been accustomed.
